Successful Revival
Keith Caldwell helped lead a great revival at Salem Baptist Church in Brundidge, AL this past week. The music was well received and much encouragement was given. We've had a great time the whole week, leading, performing and working with the youth choir. Several more churches and nursing homes are on Keith's tour schedule in AL, GA and FL before returning home to Houston at the end of the month. Please pray for a good month and that many lives will be touched by the message in our music and the words we speak to people. God Bless!

Caldwell Receives Standing O For Patriotic Song
This year at the Country Gospel Music Association Awards in Branson, MO, standing ovations have been few and far between. On Tuesday night, Keith Caldwell received a standing ovation after singing his newest single, "It's My Duty to Pray", a patriotic blockbuster that says , "...It's their honor to serve and my duty to pray." Caldwell has been gaining notice and garnering awards right and left since 2008. Not nominated for an award at this year's CGMA event, he said he felt that the standing ovation was award enough for him since it came from all of his colleagues in the gospel music industry. Immediately after CGMA this year, Keith will return briefly to Houston, TX to catch up on some unfinished business with his writing partner before beginning his November tour in the Alabama/Florida/Georgia area.

Keith Caldwell to co-host internet radio show
Exciting news, gang. I have been asked to co-host an internet radio show with my songwriting partner, Clayton B Howell. The show will appear on the new internet radio station that will be owned and operated by the Texas Christian Songwriter's Association out of Dallas, TX. John Herschenberg, executive director of TexasCSA offered us this exciting new opportunity after our concert at Buckingham UMC in Garland, TX, promoting the Association. Our genre will be Southern Gospel/Christian Country and will be a 55 minute, bi-monthly show, recycled in several slots during the 2 week duration of each show. Each show will have a sponsor church whose pastor or designee will give a 5 minute inspirational talk at the end. There will be several different genres of Christian music represented with 5 or 6 co-hosts each doing the same 55 and 5 format. Each show will air 2 to 3 times daily on a 24 hour schedule and will be renewed twice per month. If you are not yet a member of this great organization, PLEASE join today. For the very modest membership fee, you will receive superior support in your songwriting endeavors and have the opportunity to attend monthly sessions lead by songwriters in the Christian songwriting arena who are already getting their music recorded and aired. The annual meetings are a great chance to network and learn from industry giants like Keith Mohr of IndieHeaven, Thom Jackson who coaches the likes of Taylor Swift and other mega-stars on their stage performances and many others in areas such as pitching your songs and how to setup and operate a home studio. The radio show will give writers an opportunity to give a brief (30 second or less) intro of the song and allow them to promote their songs and the artist singing it. If you are an artist looking for new material, join TXCSA and have nearly unlimited access to new material. It is a GREAT opportunity for us to try something new and a great way for artists and songwriters to get their music heard for just the price of a yearly membership. Contact John Herschenberg on the TX CSA site for details or contact me (or Clay) on our respective websites and we will get you the information. God is doing exciting things with His music, people. Let's get on board and get our message out to a lost and dying world. In the words of John Herschenberg, "Songs never written bless no one." Now, they will be written AND heard.

Keith Caldwell's Second Gospel CD Released!
KCCH Music is proud to announce the release of Keith Caldwell's second CD, The Cross Began To Call. To purchase, please visit our KCCH Online Store. Soon, you'll also be able to purchase the CD on INDIEHEAVEN.com on Keith Caldwell's profile page.
The 12-track project includes all original music co-written by the award-winning songwriting team of Keith Caldwell and Clayton B. Howell. Concert attendees and other fans simply did not want to wait for the release of the full version to have their favorite new songs, so a shorter, pre-release version was sold during the spring of 2009 containing 8 of the 12 songs included on this, the full version of the CD. The Cross Began To Call is a KCCH Music release in association with Tommy Smith and Canyon Creek Records.
